Students Welfare Society ® Rawalpindi , Pakistan was launched on 14 August, 1988 on the 40th birthday of Pakistan as movement against illiteracy with a mission. ” Education for All ” and slogan ” Live for Others ” . The main idea and foundation was laid by Mr. Iftikhar Ali Shah accompanied by Malik Muhammad Sarfraz, Muhammad Fahim, Hameed Ahmed, Sheikh Sheraz Malik, Abdul Waheed Jan, and other zealous youngsters. This team worked tirelessly and provided educational aid to thousands of students, the aid includes Books, Copies, Uniform, Computer, Typing Short Hand, Spoken English training and in addition employment to skilled and unskilled younger, Rehabilitation of disabled (Special Persons) and Non-Formal Education to Literacy deprived children.
